Gary's latest documentary project, Chicken Fat: The Legacy of Will Elder
tells the story of the cultural influence of seminal MAD magazine cartoonist, Will Elder.
Recently, Gary was editor/producer of Playing With Incredible Minds, This documentary short about the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra and their tough Maestro, Federico Cortese, won the Jury Award at the Arab/African International Documentary Film Festival in Zagora, Morocco.
Previously, Gary was editor/producer on Amen, Amen, Amen: A Story for Our Times. A documentary about a small Jewish community in Dubai, UAE that gave the gift of a Torah to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi - the first gift of its kind from a Jewish Community to a Muslim religious leader. Having garnered over 25 International and Domestic Film Festival Laurels for two first-time filmmakers who benefited from Gary's guidance and expertise to complete their film.
In addition, an Emmy-Award winning editor/producer at NBC News Productions for over a decade. His NBC work includes NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, Dateline segments, MSNBC documentaries, network promos and more.
Gary is an expert editor/consultant on documentaries, broadcast news, promos, branded content, development concepts, pitches, sales and marketing in a variety of styles and formats.
On the corporate side, Gary created branding content for Morgan Stanley,
McKinsey, Johnson & Johnson and more. Gary also provided editing
services for the launch of MSNBC as well as producing/editing services
for the development and finishing of numerous independent projects
during his tenure at National Video Center in New York City.
